BMW 1700 – cracker of a car

stumbled across this car today when going for a walk. it was beautiful and in immaculate condition.
i could be wrong, but i think it stopped production in 1975 and was re-badged. from what i’ve read, it seems to have been a bit of a lemon and got discontinued pretty quickly. i’m happy to be wrong, but if any classic bmw enthusiast can correct me, that would be great. anyways, this set of wheels was well looked after and loved – inside and out and am sure some collector would blow cream at having one.

Nice, I believe it’s a model 2002, that’s how they were badged for us Yanks. Either way it’s a fine example.
