the fake easter show

ok, so it’s not ‘the royal easter show’, but it is where it used to be – moore park at the old showgrounds.

hey, free parking for 2 hours, no admission fee and it’s not rammed with people so that you can’t move. i think it actually shits all over the royal easter show.

once you are in, they offer the same crap food, show bags and rides operated by scarey-looking carnies, some of whom really should probably not be working around children.

check it out – it is called the easter family fun day, or something like that – fox studios/entertainment quarter, moore park.

philipines easter celebrations

Shot this guy in the morning on the corner of Crown St and Oxford St, Surry Hills (or is it still Darlinghurst?).  He was right opposite Pie Face and across the road from The Colombian.

Ah, the lovely people of the philipines. Have yet to go there, but one day I will.

From my personal meetings and by all accounts, they are wonderful people – the women often having such spirit-raising names like Rose, Joy, Mercy, Mary Jane and Grace.

They are also akin to go a bit batty around Easter by nailing eachother to the cross to show their devotion.

Australian John Saffran volunteered to get nailed to the cross over there for a bit of publicity. Silly twat.

The Filipinos love a bit of a show at Easter. Gladiators, Jesus’s, Virgin Mary’s and all.

I’ve got to get over there one day and check it out.

No cultural disrespect or anything, but hey, that really IS a bit fucked up….

cunts on fitzroy street

yeah, nice one.

this is on fitzroy st, surry hills – just down from the cricketer’s arms.

around the corner, workers were doing some finishing touches on clover moores world famous bike paths. they obviously left a can of street marking paint behind for some muppet to pick up and play with.

why would you just spray the word ‘cunts’ onto the middle of the road? oh they also painted a 2 metre penis on the road with cum dribbling out of it.

anger management therapy is in order perhaps?

to whoever did this, here is a song for you:

rage can be great -> but only if you grow out of it one day. believe me. rage and anger really has a used-by date.

get over it and move on.
