last photo for 2011 – who is this girl?

wow. talk about going out with a bang – not.

i shot this exactly as i found it – on a bush track in the royal national park. it struck me as odd.

i remember about 8 years ago, i was in buenos aires, argentina. i was at a little street market/garage sale type do and for some reason i bought a box of black and white family photos for 5 pesos.

these were old, old pics – of babies, weddings, people hanging about playing music, kids with dolls, holiday snaps and just really personal home and familylife.

here i was – an australian gringo buying some dead argentinan memories for 5 pesos at a flea market. so sad really.

merry christmas – from stanwell tops

what a killer view! on a clear day like this, you can see all the way to wollongong.

i just love the sheer cliffs on this stretch of coastline – a perfect motorcycle road trip it is.

you have also got to check out the coastal trail bushwalk in the royal national park that goes between here and bundeena. it really is an awesome walk – 28kms – you can knock it over in about 4 hours – depending if you choose to stop and swim at every beach along the way, or not…

a crippled little alien dude who shows up all around sydney – skulk

i first came across this little fella about a month ago in st peters – right next door to tortuga studios.

since then, i have seen this guy pop up in newtown and now in leichardt.

gets around this little monster does -a good thing i think – i reckon he is pretty cool.

i love the weird chook too.
