warren has spent the last, at least, 4 months doing a remarkable renovation to his block of four flats.

i was standing out on his attic-conversion balcony enjoying the expansive views, tama, bronte and the  north maroubra/ lurline bay headlands, but i somehow thought this shot appealed to me more.

it would be a much nicer shot if it was carrying more than my mobile phone.

my greatest apologies to all – the sun has brought out the sentimental old soul in me, so i have been playing a lot of vintage (?) oz rock. here is another – from a time when peter garrett was still in midnight oil and had a credible message. a shame he has become a rock star politician for the federal alp and got so badly shafted by them.

amazing new photographic evidence of UFOs in Australia

Well, it’s actually just a shot of this at night.

Just so that I don’t ruffle too many feathers with a misleading title, today i read an article in the Sydney Morning Herald about a guy in the Northern Territory who has been filming strange goings on in the sky. He plans to make the Top End into a tourist attraction that beats the pants off Roswell in the US.  Good luck to him, i say..

after the children have gone to sleep…

I actually went back to re-shoot a previous post, as suggested by some of the readers here, but got distracted by this scene instead.

The park was full of 16 yr olds getting pissed for someones birthday, it was all good though. Kind of like a time machine.

I come down here often, but it’s the first time i’ve been down here at night in years.  With the eye, it’s not at all creepy, but through the lens, it certainly can be – especially when shooting tungsten using daylight temperatures.

So i guess i will just have to come back and get the UFO’s another night…

yet another day with no surf – at all

if you need to be rescued today, then you really should not be near the beach at all – in fact, you should probably not be allowed to sit in the  bathtub without responsible adult supervision.

where have all the waves gone? seems the ocean off sydney has decided to become a great big, still lake.

revisiting shoes on a powerline

back to this theme from a previous post – shoes on a powerline -  again, but i just couldn’t go past this one. shoes with a view. looks like they have been there for a while.

i have to say, that was one Very good throw.

if bolts and birkenstocks are your thing, why not nail a jesus sandal onto a pole?
