why is there a birkenstock bolted into this powerpole?

11.05.10 why is there a birkenstock bolted into this powerpole?

here’s a creative variation on shoe-tossing/shoes on a powerline...

ok, i get the idea of jesus being nailed to a tree, maybe there is something in that, but this took a lot more effort than nails did…

someone screwed these little mothers in. the other jesus sandal is screwed into the other side of the pole, out of shot.

why bother doing this? in the area this photo was take, i am sure it was not supposed to be art. then what, boredom? unemployment can do some pretty fruity things to people sometimes…

….as in the comments below, could it be revisiting shoes on a powerline?

revisiting shoes on a powerline

31.7.09 revisiting shoes on a powerline

back to this theme from a previous post – shoes on a powerline -  again, but i just couldn’t go past this one. shoes with a view. looks like they have been there for a while.

i have to say, that was one Very good throw.

if bolts and birkenstocks are your thing, why not nail a jesus sandal onto a pole?

shoes on powerlines – aka “shoe tossing”

25.7.09 shoes on powerlines aka shoe tossing

I read somewhere once that wherever you see shoes that have been thrown over power lines, then that means that there is a drug-dealer doing business nearby.

Sounds like the biggest load of crap to me.

What do you think?
