i think i can add this one into my lamp post porn collection. if only ron finemore parked his truck into this shot, i would be a very happy man indeed.

what a boring old bunch of gits.
i wonder if this rule only applies to children? if myself and a bunc of mates decided to play a game of hopscotch on common property, would some grumpy old strata commitee member come out waving is cane about making threats?
worth a try i say.

this is awesome. after taking the pic, i had a chat with the friendly guy who works there, it’s a family business, he is probably a grandson. he told me that the sign is 45 years old and he obviously loves it like i do (well probably more actually).
change is a good thing, but sometimes some things are better left unchanged.
although having said that, i really don’t want to be a bitch, but the interior needs a bit of a change. not an update, not anything fancy, but just some tlc.
love the sign though, don’t change it.

any given space i suppose.
i guess the back of a signpost is a good spot to tag up – council won’t replace the sign, you are not really doing any damage and it is not going to get painted over. not a bad idea actually.

where did pascal find this bike?
it was very nice of him to take the time to print out and post these little flyers.
what’s the story here i wonder?
good on you pascal.

do you really need a sign to tell you that you shouldn’t cycle where fuel tankers are doing 90 km/ph?
i don’t know how cyclists do it in sydney – drivers are impatient, aggressive and intolerant. although there’s no culture of bicycles or motorbikes in sydney, give me a motorcycle anyday, at least i’m heard and can pull out of a situation quickly.
obviously not one of the city of sydney’s awesome new cycleway network.

alright then, who let the rampant lesbians out on the loose?
lesbian humour, you can’t make this shit up.
there are two things i have always wondered about homosexuals and both of those are in this one photo…
1) why do so many gays need to advertise like this, or rainbow stickers on their cars, or rainbow flags hanging out of their homes? i just don’t get it..
2) what’s with the constant use of childish double entendre?
oh and i wonder if they are also fans of the bon jovi album, – slippery when wet?

stuck in traffic near the eastern distributor (again…), so i just popped this lazy shot through the window.
seems i’ve started to collect assembly point signs.

so much going on here – signs, poles, wires.
all this on a quiet side street – as opposed to clutter on a main road.

what the fuck? what is that meant to mean exactly? i’m obviously not getting the message.
are you trying to sell me christianity, or scare me away? i am confused.
i’m not so sure those in the marketing department have thought this one through properly.
A lot of people find this page by googling “nobody fucks with jesus”. for those of you who did, here is a little something for you:

this is the pool where i learned how to swim, mahon pool. i spend almost every day after school down here and loved exploring the inter-tidal reef – which was teeming with marine life.
i brought my 2 year old daughter down here to show her what i grew up with, with the hope that she will develop an understanding and respect of the sea and the life it supports.
i was shocked to find that pretty much all of the cunjevoi has been cut away – it is pretty much extinct. most of the small rockpools were also quite devoid of life as well.
the are far fewer shellfish and sea-urchins as well.
it is a really sad state when people pick these rockpools bare of life – so that they can either eat the sea-snails, cunji and urchins, or when fishermen cut up the cunji to use as bait.
i now have to try to find other places where i may be able to teach my child about life in the sea – it seems that soon, the only place i will be able to do that may be at the aquarium.
shame on all of you who rape the coast and the sea – i am sure that hazardous marine life has not been found around here for many years – judging by the lack of non-hazardous marine life that i saw.

firstly, i would like to thank the wonderful ruling ALP government of NSW for allowing me to take this photo – because, if it was not for them, i would never be able to have captured it. if we had good transport infrastructure, i would never have been able to take this shot. i would be doing 60 km/ph, instead of 0 km/ph.
this photo was taken out of a car window, in the sydney harbour tunnel, late on an average friday afternoon peak hour (6:24 pm), with a shutter-speed of 1/15 of a second.
for those of you who aren’t down with shutter speeds – that means i was not going anywhere too fast – in fact, i was stationary.
i also have nice clean shots of emergency exits no’s. 11 to 16. i could have had more shots of the other ones, but i thought i had taken enough photos by that time.
i give my personal thanks to the ALP powerbrokers (tripodi, della bosca, sartor et al), and my good mate Bob Carr for running the city that i love so much, into the ground. No thanks to Rees or Iemma, who are purely shadow puppets placed by the others named. Good work boys – i am glad that you and all your developer and banker mates have lined your pockets with gold, under the table, at the expense of the future and well-being of a city of over 4 million people.
shame on you kevin rudd for towing the party line and not pulling this mafioso into line.
i know there are not many options out there at the moment, but PLEASE DON’T ANYONE vote these corrupt pricks and their dodgey mates into office for at least 10 years. Educate yourselves on preferential voting.
If there are 60 boxes on your ballot form, mark them all. It may take an extra few minutes, but that way, your vote for the greens will not become a vote for labor, for example. Don’t let these criminals get your vote. if you agree with any of the above and are a facebook user, please join this group.

found in a backstreet of Petersham.
why would anyone decide to spray this onto a wall? did they think it out, or was it a spur of the moment thing?
i think it was thought out, only because there is no other tag or throw-up with the same paint on the same wall.
cracks me up that someone commented on it as well. BTW – nice tag ‘Relms’.

another out the window of the car shot.
should give some indication of how bad the traffic in Sydney really has become.

I found this in Gordon, on the North Shore. I remebmber these signs from when i was a kid – and have forgotten about them until i saw this one. I wonder, does it still light uo at night?
